Head of the Department of Environment and Development and Associate Professor at the University for Peace. She teaches in the UPEACE online programme, the Spanish and English Master’s programmes, and the Doctoral Programme. Olivia is also an adjunct professor at Long Island University and Oregon State University. Over the last decade, Olivia’s research programme has focused on food security, climate justice, and gender. She also works with Indigenous people, women, small-holder farmers, and youth on these topics.
The Observatory has no funds of its own. Each individual can contribute to its work. Help us to continue promoting more knowledge about the impact of climate change at the level of individuals and communities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
